The Interview Playbook.

How 246 companies interview: the stages, any published evaluation framework, and the questions candidates report, compiled from public sources.

How this playbook is compiled

Each company page is compiled from public sources: candidate interview reports, coaching guides, and the company's own hiring pages, with every source linked at the bottom of the page. Full sourcing, confidence, and last-verified details live on each individual company page.

Every page carries a confidence tag. High confidence means the process is consistently corroborated across multiple independent sources. Medium confidence (196 of 246 companies) means public documentation is thinner, so lean on those pages as a starting point rather than the final word.

Pages marked Preview (79 of 246 companies) show the full process, the evaluation framework, sample questions and every source. Their complete question bank is used inside Interview Prep, included with Career.

Why a playbook for each company

Four problems, and the part of SupaCV that answers each.

Interview reports live on many different sites.

It is hard to see one company's whole process when each account covers a single loop.

What SupaCV does: Every company has a page you can read without an account: the stages, the evaluation framework where one is publicly documented, the reported questions (the full bank on 167 pages, up to three samples on Preview pages), a confidence tag, the month it was last verified and every source, linked.

A generic question list does not say what a company evaluates.

A list of questions does not tell you what the company is listening for.

What SupaCV does: Where a company has a publicly documented evaluation framework, its page shows it. On Career, a coverage grid shows which framework items your Story Bank stories cover, which are thin and which have no story yet; with no published framework it groups by question category instead.

Practising alone gets no feedback.

You can rehearse an answer and still not know whether it landed.

What SupaCV does: On Career, an AI scorer reads your typed answer: STAR for story questions, a matching four-part rubric for technical, case and direct questions. It returns a mark out of ten and short notes, and sometimes points to a real bullet from your resume that would strengthen the answer.

The night before, your notes are everywhere.

Notes sit in documents, tabs and message threads when you want them in one place.

What SupaCV does: On Career, the Final review page puts the loop you will walk into, the three answers to lead with, the topics still thin and up to three of the company's coach's tips on one web page, with a Print button.

From reading to practice

Reading is free. Practice against your own resume is on Career.

  1. 1

    Read any company page, free

No account needed. Every page has the stages, the evaluation framework or the words "No publicly documented framework", and every source. The 167 public pages show the full question bank and the coach's tips. Preview pages show up to three sample questions and have no tips section.

  2. 2

    Score your resume free

The ATS checker gives your resume a score out of 100 from six rule-based checks, with no credit card. It is the free first step, and it works for any company.

  3. 3

Prep for a company, or add a Target Role

On Career, Prep for a company on the Target Roles page lets you pick a company from the playbook list, a Resume, and optionally a title and an interview date. It creates the Target Role with no posting, starts an Interview Session from the playbook and opens the Interview Prep tab. You can also add the company as a Target Role yourself and press Start Interview Prep.

  4. 4

    Start the Interview Session

On Career, when the company has a playbook, the session takes eight of its questions by a fixed rule with no AI call: up to five behavioural questions spread across the framework, and the rest technical or case questions, ordered for your Target Role's title where we have that data. When the playbook has no technical or case rounds for your role family, the session says so and, for some role families, uses questions that other companies' playbooks report, each labelled with the company that reported it. A company with no playbook gets questions written by AI from your resume, the Target Role's title and the company name, and the session says so.

  5. 5

Type each answer and get feedback

On Career, select Get feedback after each answer. An AI scorer returns a mark out of ten, a one-line verdict and four short notes, and sometimes points to one real bullet from your resume that would strengthen the answer.

  6. 6

Save the strong ones and review before the loop

On Career, a STAR answer that scores 8 or more is saved to your Story Bank while Auto-save strong answers stays ticked. The Final review unlocks once every question is answered, or when the interview is a day away or closer if you set a date, and has a Print button.

What it does not do

The limits are part of how it works, so they are listed here.

  • Every company page is compiled from public sources: candidate interview reports, coaching guides and the company's own hiring pages, each linked on the page, and every page cites at least five. 196 of 246 pages are medium confidence, which means public documentation is thinner. A question that rests on one publisher's candidate reports says so on the page. Each page describes one well-documented shape of a process, not a script, and SupaCV is not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies.
  • Each page shows the month it was last verified. Pages differ, so check the date on the one you are reading.
  • Reading is free with no account. Interview Sessions and answer scoring are on Career.
  • On Career, a matched company's eight questions are picked by a fixed rule from its playbook. They are not written for your resume or for the posting. The Target Role page shows its newest Interview Session and offers Start only when there is none, so each Target Role gets one session.
  • A company name is matched after ignoring case, punctuation and suffixes such as Inc, plus a list of known aliases, with no fuzzy matching. An unmatched or misspelt company gets questions written by AI instead, and the session says so. Prep for a company avoids this because you pick the company from the list.
  • Technical and case questions are ordered for your Target Role's title for many role families, including software engineering, product management, data, design, finance, marketing and sales. Titles in people and HR, healthcare, education, legal, admin and hospitality keep the playbook's own order. Many playbooks report no technical or case rounds for a given role family, so where questions cannot be borrowed from other companies you can get rounds written for a different role family, and the session says so.
  • Scoring is on typed answers only: there is no voice, video, timer or live interviewer. STAR applies to story questions. Technical, case and direct answers use their own four-part rubrics, and the resume pointer is optional.
  • On Career, Interview Sessions are limited to 10 starts a day and scoring to 30 an hour, and the monthly count of scored answers is in the table below. Scoring a revised answer again uses another scored answer.
  • The Final review is a web page with a Print button. It is not a PDF or an email, and nothing fits it to one printed sheet.
  • On a Preview page you see the process, the framework, up to three sample questions and every source. On Career, a Target Role at that company lists the full question bank under Question bank in its Interview Prep tab, and Interview Sessions for that company draw from it.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the interview questions come from?+

Each company page is compiled from public sources: candidate interview reports, coaching guides and the company's own hiring pages, and every source is linked at the bottom of the page. Every page cites at least five sources, carries a confidence tag and shows the month it was last verified. It describes one well-documented shape of the process, not a script of your interview, and SupaCV is not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies listed.

Is the Interview Playbook free?+

Yes. Every company has a page you can read without an account. 167 pages show the full question bank and the coach's tips. Pages marked Preview show the process, the framework, up to three sample questions and every source; on Career, Interview Sessions for those companies draw their questions from the full bank.

What is an Interview Session?+

An Interview Session is a set of practice questions on Career, started from a Target Role. When the company has a playbook, you get eight of its questions, picked by a fixed rule with no AI: up to five behavioural across the framework and the rest technical or case, ordered for your Target Role's title where we have that data. You type each answer, and an AI scorer returns a mark out of ten, a one-line verdict and four short notes, and may point to one real bullet from your resume that would strengthen the answer.

What if my company has no playbook?+

You can still start an Interview Session from a Target Role on Career. Without a matching playbook, AI writes the questions from your resume, the Target Role's title and the company name, so they are not drawn from reported interviews, the session says so, and the Company Playbook tab does not appear. Company names are matched after ignoring case, punctuation and suffixes such as Inc, plus known aliases, with no fuzzy matching, so check the spelling before you start, or use Prep for a company to pick from the list.

Will the questions fit my Target Role?+

Partly. For many role families, including software engineering, product management, data, design, finance, marketing and sales, the technical and case questions are ordered to fit your Target Role's title; other titles keep the playbook's own order. When a playbook has no technical or case rounds for your role family, the Interview Session says so. For software engineering, product management, data, finance, core engineering, IT and infrastructure, and science and research, it can then use questions that other companies' playbooks report for that role family, each labelled with the company that reported it, so they are not passed off as this company's own. For other role families it uses the rounds the playbook has, which can be written for a different role family. Read the company page first to see which rounds it covers.
