Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of SupaCV, operated by Jaspin LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Jaspin,” “SupaCV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using SupaCV, you agree to these Terms and to the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

IMPORTANT: SECTION 21 CONTAINS A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER. EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, IT REQUIRES DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND JASPIN TO BE RESOLVED THROUGH INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION RATHER THAN IN COURT OR AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION. YOU MAY OPT OUT WITHIN 30 DAYS AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 21.

1. What SupaCV is

SupaCV is a resume and job-search workspace. Depending on your plan, it can analyse a resume and score it against applicant tracking system conventions, suggest rewrites, tailor a Resume to a specific job description, generate Cover Letters, run Interview Sessions with AI scoring and a saved story bank, surface Recommended Roles, track Applications and offers, and export documents as PDF or DOCX. Several of these features are built on artificial intelligence.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that any particular feature stays available, and we will give reasonable notice before removing something material from a paid plan where we can.

The Service also depends on things outside our control, including your internet connection, your device, and third-party providers. A failure caused by those is not a breach of these Terms.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract where you live. If you use SupaCV on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

Give us accurate account information and keep it current. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@supacv.com if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

An account is for one person. Do not share credentials, use someone else’s account, or open several accounts to get around plan limits. SupaCV is licensed for your own job search: you may not use it to run a resume-writing, recruiting, or career-coaching service for other people, paid or unpaid, without our written consent. Accounts provisioned under a separate written agreement with an organisation are governed by that agreement instead.

We may ask you to cooperate in good faith with a reasonable investigation into outages, security problems, or suspected breaches of these Terms.

3. Plans, billing and renewal

SupaCV has a Free plan and two paid plans, Pro and Career. Prices, limits, and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, and the terms presented at checkout form part of your purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe on its own hosted checkout page; we never see or store your card number.

UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE AT CHECKOUT, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY AT THE END OF EACH BILLING PERIOD AND YOUR PAYMENT METHOD IS CHARGED AT THE THEN-CURRENT RATE UNTIL YOU CANCEL. YOU CAN CANCEL AT ANY TIME FROM YOUR BILLING SETTINGS, AND CANCELLATION TAKES EFFECT AT THE END OF THE CURRENT BILLING PERIOD.

You authorise Stripe to charge the payment method on your account, and you are responsible for keeping it valid. You are responsible for applicable taxes, other than taxes Jaspin is required to collect and remit.

We may correct pricing errors, including after payment. If a pricing error affects your purchase, your remedy is cancellation of that purchase and a refund of what you paid.

Cancellation, refunds, trials, and price changes are covered in full by the Refund, Cancellation and Subscription Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where the law of your home country gives you mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights, these Terms do not take them away.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the Resumes, job descriptions, answers, stories, notes, and other material you put into SupaCV (“Your Content”).

You give Jaspin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, reformat, analyse, and display Your Content, only so far as needed to operate, secure, and provide the Service to you, and as described in the Privacy Policy. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except that we may keep copies where the law requires it or for the short backup and trash windows set out in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm you have the right to submit Your Content, and that it does not break the law or anyone else’s rights, including rights of a current or former employer. Do not upload confidential material belonging to someone else.

5. Exports, sharing and backups

You can export your documents as PDF or DOCX and download a complete copy of your account data as JSON at any time from Settings. Keep your own copies of anything you rely on. No storage service is failure-proof, and to the fullest extent the law allows, Jaspin is not liable for loss, corruption, or unavailability of Your Content. Nothing in this section limits our obligations under data-protection law.

Where the Service lets you create a share link to a Resume, that link is time-limited and scoped to the document you shared, but anyone holding the link can open it while it is live. Treat a share link as public and do not post it anywhere you would not post the document itself.

If you use the SupaCV browser extension to save jobs, it sends the job details you capture to your SupaCV account using your own credentials. It is covered by these Terms and the Privacy Policy in the same way as the rest of the Service.

6. AI features and output

To generate AI output, SupaCV sends the relevant parts of Your Content to Anthropic, which provides the Claude models we use. That includes the Resume text, the job description, and, for an Interview Session, the answer you wrote together with the Resume bullets being scored against it.

We do not strip your name or contact details before sending. Removing them would break the features that depend on them, and partial removal would not make the rest anonymous in any event. What we do instead is set out honestly in the Privacy Policy: Anthropic processes this material on our instructions, does not train its models on it by default, and deletes it after its own abuse-monitoring window of up to 30 days. Do not paste sensitive information into SupaCV that your job search does not need.

AI output is assistive and informational. It is generated probabilistically and can contain errors, omissions, invented details, outdated facts, bias, or unsuitable suggestions. It is not career, legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for reading, checking, and approving everything before you use it, publish it, or send it to an employer.

Because AI generates from patterns in language, output produced for you may resemble or match output produced for someone else. We do not promise that any output is unique to you, and we make no representation about your ownership of AI output to the extent the same or similar text is generated for others.

SupaCV does not guarantee that any Resume, Cover Letter, score, or recommendation will be accurate, will be parsed correctly by any particular applicant tracking system, or will lead to an interview, an offer, or any other outcome. Results vary.

7. How we improve SupaCV

SupaCV does not train AI models on your content, and we do not sell your data.

What we do use is product analytics: which features are used and where they fail, held as counts and events rather than content. Benchmarks that compare your resume against others are computed from a pool seeded with a public research dataset, not from SupaCV users’ resumes; the Privacy Policy sets this out in full. Aggregates are suppressed unless the group behind them is large enough that no single resume can be picked out.

If we ever introduce training on user content, we will ask separately, the choice will not be pre-ticked, and it will not be bundled into acceptance of these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

Your use of SupaCV is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms and sets out prohibited conduct in detail. In summary, and without limiting it, you must not:

• Use SupaCV to state qualifications, degrees, employment history, or experience you know to be false, to impersonate someone, or to fabricate references. Presenting true information well is the point of the product; inventing facts is not.
• Upload content you have no right to use, or anything containing malicious code.
• Try to reach accounts, systems, models, or data you are not authorised to reach.
• Reverse engineer the Service, or try to extract source code, prompts, or model weights, except where the law says that restriction cannot apply.
• Scrape the Service, access it by automated means, or use it or its output to build or train a competing product or a machine-learning model.
• Interfere with the Service, get around usage limits or security, or resell access.

We may investigate suspected breaches and may remove content, apply limits, or suspend or terminate accounts as described in Section 20.

9. What you promise us

You confirm that:

• You can enter into these Terms, and doing so does not breach an agreement you have with anyone else.
• The information you give us is accurate, and the career materials you create reflect things you honestly believe to be true.
• You will follow the law when you use the Service.
• You will not use the Service in connection with malware, phishing, fraud, piracy, or infringement.
• You will respond to reasonable questions from us about your compliance.

Breaking these promises is a material breach and lets us suspend or terminate your account immediately, without a refund except where the law requires one, alongside any other remedy available to us.

10. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback about the Service, you assign your rights in it to Jaspin and agree we can use it freely, without attribution or payment. Please do not send us feedback you consider confidential.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, interface, branding, designs, templates, scoring logic, and documentation, belongs to Jaspin or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own job search. No other rights transfer to you.

12. Copyright complaints

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@supacv.com with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): identification of the work, where the allegedly infringing material sits, your contact details, the required good-faith and accuracy statements, and your signature. We respond to valid notices, may remove or disable the material, and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. Counter-notices go to the same address.

13. Third-party services

SupaCV relies on third parties for AI, payments, hosting, email, analytics, and job data. Each is listed, with what it receives, on the sub-processors page. Those providers have their own terms and privacy policies. Job listings shown in the Service come from public sources and third-party feeds; we do not control their accuracy, and a listing is not an endorsement or a representation that a role is open.

14. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights. The Cookie and Tracking Policy covers cookies and similar technologies, and lets you change your choice at any time.

15. Confidentiality

“Confidential Information” means non-public information one party gives the other that is marked confidential or would obviously be treated as confidential. Each party will use the other’s Confidential Information only in connection with the Service, protect it with at least the care it uses for its own, and not pass it on except to people who need it and are under confidentiality obligations. Either party may disclose it where the law requires, giving the other prompt notice and a chance to object where that is lawful. Your Content is handled under Section 4 and the Privacy Policy, not under this section.

16. Free, trial and beta features

We may offer a free plan, trials, or features labelled beta, preview, or experimental. These are for evaluation, can change or disappear without notice, and are provided without warranties to the fullest extent the law allows.

17. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” JASPIN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY GIVEN IN THESE TERMS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR TRADE USAGE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. SUPACV IS A TOOL THAT HELPS YOU PREPARE CAREER MATERIALS. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE INTERVIEWS, OFFERS, OR ANY OTHER OUTCOME.

Some places do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so parts of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.

18. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JASPIN AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, CONTENT, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

JASPIN’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) WHAT YOU PAID JASPIN IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$100.

These limits apply whatever the legal theory and even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or, where applicable, death or personal injury.

19. Indemnification

To the extent the law allows, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jaspin and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your unlawful use of the Service, from Your Content, or from your breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or someone else’s rights. We may take over the defence of any such matter with counsel of our choice, and you agree to cooperate. This section survives termination.

20. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, where it is reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, fraud, a security risk, unlawful activity, non-payment, or a material breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; where the law or a regulator requires it; where your account is under attack; or where you will not cooperate with an investigation. If we terminate your paid subscription for a material breach, prepaid fees for the current period are forfeited to the extent the law allows. If we terminate a paid subscription without cause, we refund the unused part of the current billing period.

You can stop using SupaCV and delete your account at any time from Settings. On termination your right to use the Service ends, and what happens to your data is set out in the Privacy Policy. Sections 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, and 24 survive termination.

21. Dispute resolution: arbitration and class action waiver

Please read this section carefully; it affects your legal rights. It does not apply where mandatory law prohibits pre-dispute arbitration agreements, including for consumers resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, who keep the right to bring claims in their local courts.

Talk to us first

Before starting arbitration or a lawsuit, you and Jaspin agree to try to sort the problem out informally. Send a written notice describing the dispute and what you want to legal@supacv.com, and we will try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days. This step is a condition of starting any formal proceeding.

Agreement to arbitrate

Except as set out below, you and Jaspin agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this agreement to arbitrate. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. The arbitrator decides all issues, except that a court decides the scope, enforceability, and interpretation of the class action waiver below. Hearings are held by videoconference, or in the county where you live if an in-person hearing is required, and claims of US$25,000 or less may be decided on written submissions.

Exceptions

Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either may ask a court for an injunction to protect intellectual property or stop unauthorised use of the Service. Seeking an injunction does not waive the right to arbitrate a damages claim.

Class action and jury waiver

YOU AND JASPIN EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO TAKE PART IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY.

If a court finds this waiver unenforceable for a particular claim, this arbitration agreement does not apply to that claim, which proceeds in court, and the rest of this section still applies to all other claims.

Batch arbitration

If 25 or more similar demands are filed against Jaspin by the same or coordinated counsel, the AAA will administer them in batches of up to 50 as a single consolidated arbitration per batch, unless its rules prohibit that.

Opting out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement and the class action waiver by emailing legal@supacv.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, giving your name, your account email, and your intention to opt out. Opting out affects nothing else in these Terms.

Time limit

To the extent the law allows, any claim relating to the Service must be brought within one year of when it arose, or it is permanently barred.

22. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 21, and except where mandatory consumer-protection law where you live applies instead. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. For disputes not subject to arbitration, and where mandatory law does not require otherwise, the state and federal courts in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.

23. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give at least 15 days’ notice by email or in the product before it takes effect, and a material change to Section 21 comes with a fresh 30-day opt-out right. Continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect means you accept it, to the extent the law allows. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel before the change takes effect.

24. General provisions

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie and Tracking Policy, the Refund, Cancellation and Subscription Policy, and the terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and Jaspin about the Service. If they conflict, these Terms prevail unless the other document says otherwise expressly.

Severability

If any provision is held invalid, it will be enforced as far as it can be and the rest stays in force, except as stated in Section 21.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms or your account without our written consent. Jaspin may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets.

No waiver

Not enforcing a provision once does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by something beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour conditions, epidemics, government action, utility or internet failures, or third-party provider outages.

Export and sanctions

You may not use the Service in breach of export-control or sanctions laws, and you confirm you are not located in an embargoed country or named on a restricted-party list.

No third-party beneficiaries

These Terms create no rights for anyone else.

Electronic communications

You agree to receive notices from us electronically, by email and in the product, and that these satisfy any requirement that a communication be in writing. Notice to you counts as given when sent to the email address on your account.
