LinkedIn Coach

AI LinkedIn coach.

Paste your LinkedIn profile text and pick a Resume. An AI drafts a headline and an About section, and you copy them into LinkedIn yourself.

SupaCV's LinkedIn Coach compares the profile text you paste with one of your Resumes, or works from the Resume alone. An AI model drafts a headline and About section, rewrites your experience bullets in the first person and writes posts. It does not connect to your LinkedIn account, and nothing checks what it writes.

Score your resume free

The ATS score for your resume is free with no credit card. The coach is not part of that score, and the plan table below shows which plans include it.

Where LinkedIn profiles go wrong

Four problems, and the part of the coach that answers each.

The headline is only a job title.

A headline is the line that sits under your name, and a bare title says little about what you do.

What the coach does: The coach drafts a headline from your Resume. Paste your profile as well and it shows the headline it reads today beside the suggestion, with the issues it sees in the current one.

The About section reads like a resume paragraph.

About is written in the first person, and a paragraph lifted from a resume reads stiffly there.

What the coach does: The coach drafts an About section in the first person from your Resume. With your profile pasted in, it shows what your About section says today beside the new one.

Your resume and your profile drift apart.

You update one and forget the other, and a reader who opens both finds two versions of your career.

What the coach does: Paste your profile and the coach lists achievements from your Resume that the profile leaves out, and skills to add or remove.

Resume bullets read as CV lines on a profile.

A bullet written for a resume is short and in the past tense, which reads as a CV entry once it sits on a profile.

What the coach does: The coach rewrites your recent bullets in the first person, outcome first, beside the originals, and is instructed to keep your numbers.

Import your LinkedIn profile

The profile comes in as text you paste, not as a link.

You import it by pasting it. Open your own profile in LinkedIn, copy the text of your headline, About section and experience, and paste it into the box on the LinkedIn Coach screen. SupaCV does not fetch anything from LinkedIn, so there is no link to give it and no sign-in to LinkedIn.

To start a Resume from your profile instead, save your profile as a PDF from LinkedIn and upload that file. SupaCV reads it into a Resume that you can check and edit.

LinkedIn headline generator

The coach writes a headline two ways. From your Resume alone it drafts one in the shape title, specialty, value. With your pasted profile it also shows the headline it reads today, the issues it sees in it and an improved version. Either way the result is a draft in a box with a Copy button, and you paste it into LinkedIn yourself.

LinkedIn summary generator

LinkedIn calls the summary the About section. The coach drafts it in the first person from your Resume, and with your profile pasted in it shows what your About section says today beside the new one. The draft is written to read well and to carry keywords, so check every claim in it against what you have done.

How it works

Six steps, from a Resume to text you can paste into LinkedIn.

  1. 1

    Choose a Resume

The coach reads one of your Resumes, and a Tailored Version works as well as any other. A Resume with no parsed structure is refused with a message, so upload or build one first.

  2. 2

    Paste your LinkedIn profile text

Copy the text of your headline, About section and experience from your own LinkedIn profile and paste it into the box on the LinkedIn Coach screen. What you paste is all the coach sees of your profile.

  3. 3

    Select Analyze & Compare

An AI model compares your pasted text with a short version of your Resume. You get the headline and About section as it reads them today, a suggested headline and About section, achievements from your Resume that the profile leaves out, skills to add or remove, three actions and a score out of 100 that is an AI estimate.

  4. 4

Or start from the Resume alone

Generate suggestions from resume needs no pasted profile. The AI reads your summary, your job titles with their companies and your skills, and returns a headline, an About section, tips for the experience section, skills to add, ideas for the Featured section and general profile tips.

  5. 5

    Rewrite your experience bullets

Rewrite my experience bullets for LinkedIn turns your recent Resume bullets into first-person LinkedIn bullets, one block for each of your five most recent Resume entries, beside the originals. The AI is instructed to keep your numbers as written and not to invent new ones. Each block has a Copy LinkedIn bullets button.

  6. 6

    Write a post

In the LinkedIn Post Generator, pick Thought Leadership, Industry News Commentary or Personal Achievement, add some context and a public article link if you like, and select Generate Post. The AI writes a post for you to copy, from your latest title, company and skills and whatever you add.

What it does not do

The limits are part of how it works, so they are listed here.

  • It does not post to, read from, edit or connect to your LinkedIn account. Every result is text on the screen, and you copy it into LinkedIn yourself.
  • It sees only what you paste. Nothing is fetched from LinkedIn, so anything you leave out of the paste is invisible to it, and a long paste is cut off at the end, which is usually your older experience.
  • Nothing checks what it writes against your Resume. Only the bullet rewrite is instructed to keep your numbers, and nothing checks even that. The headline, About section and post prompts contain no instruction against inventing anything, so read every line and cut anything you could not back up.
  • The score out of 100 is an AI estimate. The model writes the number with no fixed rubric, it can differ from one run to the next, and it is not a LinkedIn measure.
  • Generating from the Resume alone reads your summary, your job titles with their companies and your skills. Your bullets, dates and education are not read, so those suggestions cannot draw on what you did in a job.
  • A post is written from your latest title, company and skills plus the topic and article link you add. It has no news source, so an industry news post is commentary on what you give it. If the article page cannot be fetched, the post is written without it and the screen does not tell you.
  • It cannot say how LinkedIn ranks or shows profiles, and nothing here predicts profile views, messages or interviews.
  • The four tools share one hourly limit, and a monthly fair-use budget for AI is shared with every AI tool in your plan. There is no monthly count of runs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import my LinkedIn profile?+

Yes, by pasting it. Copy the text of your headline, About section and experience from your own profile and paste it into the LinkedIn Coach box. Nothing is fetched from LinkedIn and there is no sign-in to LinkedIn, so the coach sees only the text you give it. It also cannot post for you, so you copy each result back into LinkedIn yourself.

What happens to the profile text I paste?+

It is sent to Anthropic's Claude, the AI model that writes the comparison, and it is not saved to your SupaCV account. SupaCV logs how many tokens a request used, not the text itself. The privacy policy covers what Anthropic does with what it receives, including that it "does not train on it and deletes it within 30 days".

Read the privacy policy→
Can it write a headline without my LinkedIn profile?+

Yes. Generate suggestions from resume works from the Resume alone and returns a headline, an About section and tips. Pasting your profile as well adds the comparison: what the AI reads as your current headline and About section, and the achievements from your Resume that the profile leaves out.

Does the score show how LinkedIn will treat my profile?+

No. The score out of 100 is an AI estimate of your pasted text against your Resume. The model writes the number without a fixed rubric, so it can change between runs, and LinkedIn decides how profiles are shown. Nothing in the coach predicts profile views, messages or interviews.

How many times can I run it?+

The plan table on this page shows which plans include the coach. Each run counts against one hourly limit that the comparison, the suggestions, the bullet rewrite and the post generator all share, and against a monthly fair-use budget for AI that every AI tool in your plan shares. There is no separate monthly count of runs.
