Acceptable Use Policy
Operated by Jaspin LLC · Effective
At a glance
Tailoring a resume is the product. Falsifying one is not. Rewriting, reframing, and targeting true experience is exactly what SupaCV is for. Inventing degrees, employers, or references is not.
One person, one account, your own job search. Not a resume-writing business run through our subscription.
Do not attack the service or scrape it, and do not use it or its output to train a model or build a competing product.
This summary is for orientation only. The full text below is what actually applies.
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may not do with SupaCV. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service, and terms defined there have the same meaning here. “You” means any user of SupaCV; “we” and “us” mean Jaspin LLC.
1. General compliance
Use SupaCV in line with all applicable laws and regulations, including data-protection and privacy law, intellectual-property law, consumer-protection law, and the rules governing unsolicited commercial messages. Do not use SupaCV to carry out, help with, or encourage illegal, abusive, or reckless behaviour.
2. Honest career content
SupaCV exists to help you present real qualifications well. Where the line sits matters more here than in a generic policy, so we will be specific.
These are legitimate uses, and always will be. Rewriting a bullet so it reads better. Leading with the achievement instead of the task. Quantifying an outcome you genuinely delivered. Reordering sections so the relevant experience comes first. Translating internal jargon into language an outsider understands. Tailoring the same true history to different roles. Cutting things that are true but irrelevant.
These are not. You may not use SupaCV to:
- Claim credentials, degrees, certifications, licences, employers, job titles, or dates of employment that you know to be false.
- Take sole credit for work you know was someone else’s.
- Impersonate a real person, or produce materials for someone else without their authorisation.
- Fabricate references, recommendation letters, or employment-verification documents.
- Produce materials meant to deceive an employer, an educational institution, or a background-check or verification service in a way that breaks the law.
The product is built to hold this line rather than just to state it. Its rewriting features are constrained to work from what you actually wrote, and they will not silently promote shared credit into sole ownership or introduce a number you never provided.
3. Abuse and security
You may not:
- Access any account, system, network, or data without the owner’s authorisation.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of any system or network, or try to defeat security or authentication measures, without express prior written permission from the owner. That includes ours: to report a vulnerability responsibly, see section 12.
- Monitor traffic or data on a system or network without authorisation.
- Introduce a virus, malware, or any other destructive code.
- Collect identifiers such as email addresses or names by deception, including phishing, credential theft, spidering, or harvesting.
- Conceal or falsify your identity or origin, including by forging headers.
- Disrupt service to any user, network, or system, including by flooding, denial-of-service attacks, or deliberately overloading a system.
- Behave in a way likely to get our infrastructure listed on an abuse or blocklist database.
4. Harmful and illegal content
You may not upload, store, generate, or transmit through SupaCV any content, or link to content, that we reasonably believe:
- Constitutes, depicts, or promotes child sexual abuse material, or any sexual exploitation or sexualisation of minors, or otherwise harms children.
- Is excessively violent, incites or threatens violence, constitutes harassment, bullying, intimidation, or hate speech, or creates a risk to anyone’s safety.
- Is defamatory, or violates someone’s privacy, including doxxing or the unauthorised disclosure of personal or confidential information.
- Is unfair or deceptive under consumer-protection law, including chain letters and pyramid schemes.
- Is otherwise malicious, fraudulent, or unlawful, or solicits unlawful conduct.
We may decide, acting reasonably, whether content falls into these categories, and may remove it at any time without notice and without liability.
5. Misusing the AI features
You may not use SupaCV’s AI features to:
- Create or distribute synthetic content intended to deceive, impersonate, defraud, or mislead, including deepfakes and manipulated media.
- Generate spam, malware, phishing content, or anything else this policy prohibits.
- Extract, reconstruct, or discover the prompts, system instructions, models, or model weights behind the Service, or to bypass the safety measures of the Service or of our AI provider.
- Generate content in bulk by automated means, or use SupaCV output to train, develop, or improve a machine-learning model or a competing service.
6. Fair use of shared resources
The Service, and its AI features in particular, run on shared infrastructure with usage limits. Do not use SupaCV in a way that interferes with its normal operation or consumes a disproportionate share of shared capacity, including through automated, scripted, or excessive requests. We may apply rate limits, throttle usage, or quarantine data that is corrupted or could harm the system or other users.
7. Intellectual property
Do not use SupaCV in a way that infringes or misappropriates anyone’s copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, or other proprietary rights. That includes uploading or distributing protected work without permission, displaying someone else’s trademark without permission, and disclosing trade secrets or information covered by a duty of confidence, including your employer’s.
8. Export controls and sanctions
SupaCV may not be used in breach of export laws, controls, or sanctions applicable to you or to us, and may not be used by anyone involved in, or suspected of involvement in, terrorism, narcotics or arms trafficking, or the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, or affiliated with any party sponsoring such activity.
9. Responsibility for others
You are responsible for any breach of this policy by anyone using your account, whether or not you authorised it. Helping someone else do something that would breach this policy if you did it is itself a breach. Keep the devices and networks you control reasonably secure. Our right to suspend or terminate applies even where a breach was unintentional.
10. Investigations and legal process
Where we are legally required to let an authority inspect your content or usage, or to hand over information about your use of SupaCV, we may do so, and where the law permits we will give you reasonable notice first. We may report conduct we believe is unlawful to the appropriate authorities, and may cooperate with requests from law enforcement, regulators, or civil litigants that appear on their face to meet legal requirements. We reserve the right, but take on no obligation, to monitor use of SupaCV for compliance.
11. What happens if you break this
If we detect or reasonably suspect a breach, we may remove or block the content, throttle or restrict your usage, or suspend or terminate your account under the Terms of Service, without prior notice where immediate action is needed to protect SupaCV, its users, or a third party. Where an account is terminated for a material breach, fees are not refundable to the extent the law allows, as set out in the Refund Policy.
We aim to be proportionate. A first, minor, and clearly accidental breach will usually get a warning and a chance to put it right. Fraud, attacks on the platform, and content that harms other people will not.
12. Reporting abuse
To report a suspected breach of this policy, write to support@supacv.com with the details. To report a security vulnerability, write to security@supacv.com instead, and please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it publicly. We review reports and act as we think appropriate, though we cannot promise an individual reply to every one.
13. Changes to this policy
We may amend this policy by publishing a revised version, effective on publication. If complying with a revision would materially and adversely affect your use of SupaCV, you may cancel your subscription by writing to support@supacv.com within 30 days of the revision taking effect, with no early-termination charge.
